Holden’s Dual Fuel Omega VE Ute

Holden’s Dual-fuel VE Omega ute offers tradesmen to control their fuel charges without any suffering. Holden’s dual-fuel model gives the choice to drive in conventional way along with cost cutting.

It is the product of Impco and great change in vehicle industry. Holden’s dual-fuel system provides option that just not to stay within conventional way but to move forward with economical technology.

Holden’s dual-fuel VE Omega ute is just like a regular Omega model with five-speed auto transmission, but amazingly it has a sufficient space for LPG kit in bonnet, 73 liter fuel tank on the back of cabin and the level indicators are in the center console along with fuel system switch.

Holden’s dual-fuel VE Omega ute starts with unleaded and automatically shifts on LPG after few seconds and the switchover is so smart that it accelerates as it runs with petrol.

Driver can easily aware that which fuel system is in use, at a glance, just by seeing the fuel L.E.D switch panel on centre console.

A beauty of this dual fuel system is the automatic changeover to petrol, when LPG ends, and there is no such phenomenon like knocking, tripping and recoiling as compare to other traditional LPG vehicles.

While working on its tops at unleaded, the Holden’s dual-fuel V6 engine puts out 175 kW at 6500 rpms and 318 Nm at 2400 rpms and down from 180 Kw it delivers 6000 rpms and 330 Nm at 2600 rpms.

Holden’s dual-fuel VE Omega ute gives optimum control in such circumstances like emergency stops and gripping issues by using ABS antiskid brakes and dynamic stability control.

While comparing the consumption of petrol and LPG, it came to know that on petrol it takes $ 0.152/Km whereas it only takes $ 0.064/Km.

So it easily recovers the cost and lessen the payback time of LPG ($ 3,400) after covering 38,600 Km.

The government gives rebate of 00, without any consideration, to make the LPG more economical and attractive
